The centre's courtyard at dusk and by day: an olive tree in a raised travertine pond with a water spout, walnut cube seats, a dark green marble wall and a dark timber pergola.
The room the brand has to live in. Travertine, walnut, dark green marble, olive, water, warm plaster. The palette in section 04 is sampled from this — not chosen alongside it.
01

The vision, as we understand it

A private medical wellness destination where science, recovery, optimisation and longevity are delivered with understated luxury. Not a spa. Not an aesthetic clinic. A place a discerning person is referred to — and returns to.

Growth comes from clinical excellence, professional referral and word of mouth. That single fact shapes everything that follows: the brand does not need to shout, discount or persuade. It needs to be unmistakably credible, quietly confident, and worth talking about.

Every element should communicate trust, discretion, refinement and evidence-based care.

It is

  • A private medical wellness destination
  • Evidence-led — every programme begins with data
  • Quietly luxurious, natural, timeless
  • An open centre that other doctors refer into
  • For people who invest in health, recovery, performance and longevity
  • Built to evolve, and to travel to other cities

It is not

  • A “med spa”
  • An aesthetic clinic
  • A commercial wellness chain
  • Dr. Karatziás's personal clinic
  • A brand trying to attract everyone
  • A brand that competes on price or promotion

Evidence

DNA, biomarkers, VisBody — data before decisions.

Discretion

Quiet confidence. Nothing performative.

Warmth

Clinical excellence delivered with care, not coldness.

Nature

Travertine, water, olive, oxygen — a sanctuary.

02

The name

In progress

We are still searching. We would rather bring you one name we can defend than three we cannot.

Naming a medical brand in Cyprus is narrower work than it looks. A name must survive four separate tests, and a candidate that passes three is not a candidate. We have screened a substantial shortlist and rejected all of it — most often because a word that is beautiful in Greek is already carrying a meaning in Cypriot commercial life that no amount of design can outrun.

That work continues in parallel, and it does not hold anything else up. Colour, voice, type and structure are all settled independently of the name — which is why this document is ready now.

Living usage

What the word already means to a Cypriot or Greek ear today — the businesses, institutions and associations it is already attached to.

Register

Clean across the company register and the trademark classes for medical and clinical services.

Ownership

The .com and the .com.cy both obtainable, alongside matching social handles.

Two tongues

Said aloud confidently by a Greek speaker and an international patient alike, with no second syllable of hesitation.

03

Voice & catch phrases

Short, declarative, never promotional. The voice states what is true and stops — the confidence is in the restraint. These lines work with any of the names under consideration.

Speak the way the best doctor in the room speaks — precise, unhurried, warm, and entirely uninterested in impressing you.

04

Colour

Three palettes, every one drawn from the materials already specified for the space — travertine, walnut, microcement, the olive tree in the courtyard, the dark green marble of the veranda. Each tilts the brand a different way.

You are looking at it

Travertine & Olive

Recommended · warm, timeless

The truest reading of the building. Two near-whites separate the sections without a single hard line, warm stone grounds the middle, and the olive and walnut at the dark end carry the weight — the accent is lifted straight from the tree in the courtyard.

#F6F2EA#EFE9DE#E0D3BE#B0A085#5C5D42#322A22

Stone & Deep Green

Cooler · more dramatic

Built around the dark green marble of the veranda wall. Quieter, more architectural, a touch more formal and more masculine than the recommendation.

#F8F6F2#F2EEE7#D5CCBE#8C8880#35443A#241F1A

Mineral Grey

Calmest · most clinical

The most restrained of the three. Leans toward the diagnostic, scientific half of the offer while keeping an olive shadow so it never turns cold.

#F8F8F6#F1F0EC#DAD7CF#9A968C#4E5142#2A2A26

How the recommended palette is used

Plaster#F6F2EA · alternating ground
Travertine#EFE9DE · primary ground
Sand#E0D3BE · callouts, fills
Stone#B0A085 · rules, quiet fills
Olive#5C5D42 · accent, dark ground
Walnut#322A22 · ink, dark ground

The two lightest values carry most of the page and alternate section by section; the two darkest are used as full grounds, not only as text. That contrast is what keeps a warm palette from reading as one flat beige.

05

Typography

Two directions, each shown in its own typeface. Both carry a complete Greek character set — a deliberate constraint, since many of the most elegant display faces omit Greek entirely, which would force a mismatched second font onto half the website. Both are open-licensed, so there is no annual type fee in either case.

Commissioner

Longevity, considered.

Ξεκινάμε από τα δεδομένα.

A low-contrast humanist sans with a quiet calligraphic root. It holds a light weight at large sizes without turning fashionable, and its Greek is drawn with the same hand as its Latin rather than adapted from it.

Direction two · alternative

Sofia Sans

Longevity, considered.

Ξεκινάμε από τα δεδομένα.

Narrower, cooler and more contemporary. A single light, tightly drawn sans across the entire system — weighted toward the science and away from heritage. Fewer moving parts, and it demands more discipline in the spacing to stay warm.

06

Logo direction

We would begin with a wordmark: a logo made from the name itself, drawn and spaced with care, rather than a separate symbol. A symbol would follow only if it earned its place. A wordmark travels further — engraved into travertine, cut through corten steel, blind-embossed on card, or standing alone at sixteen pixels.

Any symbol should stay abstract and monochrome-first. Motifs worth exploring: a single water ripple, which is measurement and calm in one form; the inverted travertine cone of the fountain; or one minimal olive leaf.

One thing to avoid: the lotus. It belongs to Dr. Karatziás's personal identity, and this centre needs its own.

07

How the brand behaves

A brand that grows by referral has to earn belief rather than attention. These are the rules that keep it on the right side of that line.

Always

  • State what is measured and what is done — plainly
  • Let the space, the materials and the light do the persuading
  • Use real photography of the centre itself
  • Leave generous empty space — silence is the luxury
  • Write the Greek as well as the English, never as a translation afterthought
  • Credit the science: the data, the protocol, the reasoning

Never

  • Discounts, offers, countdowns or urgency of any kind
  • Superlatives and unprovable claims
  • Stock imagery — smiling models, cucumber slices, white robes
  • Before-and-after imagery
  • The visual language of a spa, or of a hospital
  • Anything that would look at home in a wellness chain
08

Proposed website structure

Every page below comes from your own answers. You asked for “a dedicated page for each core service” because it is ideal for search — so each of your launch services has one, from opening day. Diagnostics in particular earn it: DNA testing, biomarker analysis and body composition are searched for by name, and they are the pillar the whole philosophy rests on.

Phase 1 — at launch · 21 pages, each in English and Greek

  • Home
  • Philosophy & Founder — including Dr. Karatziás's concise profile
  • The Space the destination — the veranda, the bioclimatic pergola, the pond and the tree
  • Team CMS — short bios: Medical Director · Clinical Nutritionist · Nurses · Lymphatic Drainage Therapists

CMS you edit yourselves hero lead selling moment

How the pages are counted

21 pages written · 42 addresses live · 10 layouts designed. Each page is published in both English and Greek, so search engines index forty-two URLs. But the eight service pages share a single template, and the three programme pages another — they are written eleven times, not designed and built eleven times.

Pricing follows design and copy, not URLs; the Greek is costed separately as professional translation, as you asked for.

Phase 2 — as it evolves

Built in from day one, switched on when you are ready.

Every line below is something you told us could wait — nothing here is scope we have quietly removed. No service is postponed: all ten launch services have their own page from opening day.

  • Online booking & consultation scheduling
  • Individual practitioner profile pages
  • An education section
  • Further programmes and memberships
  • Advanced CRM & email marketing integration
  • Further languages, should medical tourism develop
  • Additional locations — the franchise structure

On the CMS

Team, service and programme content is editable by your staff through a simple login — no developer needed. We build it on a git-based system that runs on your existing hosting, so there is no additional yearly software fee.

It has one trade-off worth knowing about: after you save an edit, it takes up to a minute to appear on the live site, because the site rebuilds itself each time. If you would rather have instant editing later, a heavier CMS can be introduced at additional cost, without rebuilding the website.

Billed at the translator's own invoice plus 10%. We commission and manage the work; you see the real cost rather than a marked-up estimate.

Domain & mailboxes

The domain is registered in your name and paid by you directly. Google Workspace licences the same — we set everything up, the account stays yours from the first day.

Name clearance

Before proposing a name we check the domains, the Cyprus company register and its existing use in Greek and Cypriot business. A formal trademark search and registration is a lawyer's work and a separate cost — worth doing before the name goes on the building.

10

Where we go from here

Three decisions from you unlock the rest. None of them depends on the others, and none of them waits for the name.

  1. 01

Confirm the palette. Travertine & Olive is our recommendation and the one this document is dressed in. If either alternative speaks louder to you, say so now — it is a five-minute decision at this stage and a costly one later.

  2. 02

Choose the typeface. Commissioner or Sofia Sans. Read both specimens aloud in Greek before deciding; that is the test that matters, and it is the one most often skipped.

  3. 03

Approve the structure. Once section 08 is agreed we can begin writing, in English and Greek, while the identity is drawn in parallel.

From there we develop the chosen direction into a complete identity — wordmark artwork, the full colour and type system, and the guidelines that keep it consistent as the centre grows into new services and, in time, new cities. The website follows in the same quiet register: focused at launch, built to evolve exactly as you described.
